  40. I wrote this stack to replace a 1400-line BASIC program, and I'm still impressed by how easy it was! Hypercard provided easy solutions to the extensive range checking/error flagging that was built into the original, at a fraction of the programming effort.

  42. You'll need to know a little about Hypercard to use the program, and particularly if you want to add new buffers to the Stack. Remember - each buffer species occupies one card of the stack, as the recipes are calculated dynamically.
